The levy
HRD Corp, the Human Resource Development Corporation, administers Malaysia's training levy. Registered organisations contribute a percentage of employee wages to a fund that can pay for approved training.
In other words, you have already paid for development. The only question is whether you use it or leave it on the table.
Most companies above the employee threshold in their sector are required to register. Your finance or HR team can confirm status and levy balance in the employer portal.

Protect the claim
SBL-Khas approval must come before the programme runs, not after.
If the provider is not registered, the claim will not hold.
Claims must be submitted within six months of training completion.
Attendance records, materials, and invoices all need to be in order.
